The 2008 Blacksburg
Tour
will include one home and one commercial building.
The tour will begin
10am at 3451 Cameo Lane.

The home tour is a 2kW
PV
system that is grid interactive with battery backup; independent PV
well
pump. Passive solar design with specialized insulation.
Commercial
site tour will follow the home tour and is about 2mi. away.
Directions to Cameo Lane:
From I-81 take Rt. 460
west
to Blacksburg. Continue on 460 beyond the Va Tech exit at Southgate
Drive,
continue beyond the Prices Fork Road and Downtown exits. The
following
light is Toms Creek Road. Exit right onto Toms Creek Road and take a
left at the next light onto Patrick Henry Drive. Continue on
Patrick Henry through one light and take a left
onto
Main Street at the second light. Take a right onto Mnt. Tabor
Road, then right onto
Bishop Road, and right onto Cameo Lane (4th right on Bishop).

From 460 east, take the
first
Blacksburg exit to the left. There is a brown sign but no stop
light
or other indication. Left onto Mnt Tabor, then right onto Bishop
Road, and right onto Cameo Lane (4th right on Bishop).
